  • I'm about 5 yrs younger than Willard and at times cringe at the untoward and cowardly things I did in my youth. There are things I wish I could take back and repent to the effected individuals, mainly re: women. I remember well particular incidents and I am not sure the Mitt does.

  • No. Time is time. Money is money. We have lost our way in the good old U$A. We are always in a hurry to go nowhere, myself included. It fits nicely into our self-aggrandizement and sense of entitlement. We are no longer the tough, get through it, Yanks. Just another empire on the downward slope.

  • the thinker is clearly a misnomer for the respondent. I rarely fly United but as an aircrew member for another major airline and to say "The shortest delay...was almost two hours" is ludicrous. Either you only flew once on UA or fabricating the whole story.

  • Yes, wasn't it funny for each of these various ethnic groups to "play by the rules"? They, too, were welcomed with open arms by the nativists and then by those groups that preceeded them. Everything went so swimmingly, all so Christ-like, a true melting pot of Whites only.
